Preferred: Depending on the volume, take an aliquot and centrifuge to remove any cellular material and transfer to a plastic aliquot tube. Indicate the body fluid type, source location, and time of collection on the label.


Acceptable: Submit specimen in non-centrifuged collection container such as a plain red top or Li-Heparin tube.  Indicate the body fluid type, source location, and time of collection on the label.
