Allow serum samples to clot completely at room temperature before centrifugation. Separate serum of plasma from contact with cells ASAP. Store tightly sealed sample at room temperature (15 -30C) for no longer than 8 hours, at refrigerator (2 - 8C) up to 24 hours. For shipment sample at -20C or colder. Outside Laboratory: Outside specimen should be frozen & shipped on dry ice. |
