Meet The Team

Dr. Hoak has been with InCyte Pathology over 18 years and is the Chief Medical Director.  He has been the Medical Director of the Laboratory at Sacred Heart Medical Center and Kadlec Medical Center, and was President of InCyte Pathology.  Dr. Hoak is currently President of the American Pathology Foundation and has been President of the Washington State Society of Pathologists and the Pacific Northwest Society of Pathologists. 

Gary has over 30 years of experience in the operations and administration of clinical and anatomic pathology laboratories.  Prior to coming to InCyte Pathology, he was the Director of Laboratory Operations at Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories.  As COO, Gary has been a key driver in implementing lean processes in the laboratory and improving technologies to support “best practices” in laboratory testing.  

Tom has 27 years of experience in health care finance and administration.  Prior to coming to InCyte Pathology, Tom held positions as the Director of Compliance Services for Providence Health and Sacred Heart Medical Center, and Chief Financial Officer for Spokane Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic.  Tom started his health care career as the Controller for Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories.  

Kelcey is a Medical Technologist with over 13 years experience in the clinical arena.  She started her career in Hematology at Sacred Heart Medical Center (SHMC).  Kelcey moved into the Cytogenetics department at SHMC, worked as a Technical Specialist and Assistant Supervisor and was eventually promoted to Cytogenetic Technical Supervisor.  

Heather has over 10 years experience in Human Resources.  Prior to joining InCyte Pathology in 2008 she worked in both the manufacturing and financial industries.  Heather takes pride in helping develop individual's professional competencies in order to further both individual career goals and the organization's mission.

Carol has been at InCyte Pathology over thirty years and is the Cytology Supervisor.  Carol has remained committed to her field, promoting continuing education for her department.  She assists in the ongoing evaluation of cytotechnologists and cytology preparatory staff to ensure results meet InCyte's high standards.  

Miranda began working for InCyte Pathology in 2007 as a Histology Lab Assistant.  In 2009, she started as a histotechnologist in training and received a certificate in histotechnology from the University of North Dakota in 2010.
